72

72 is a thought experiment on systems of flawed logic. The work exists in two parts: Planks of wood cradling 72 loaded dice, and a set of drawings of their individual eroded forms. When thrown, the dice predicts the future through the sum of numbers. The drawings highlight a disintegration of form and structure. It also demonstrates how a hypothetical future is calculated. By way of irony, this set of loaded dice gleans mangled results however purposeful it appears.
